Eva was born in La Libertad, Peru. Eva's father was in the military and Eva’s family moved around to follow his career, they stayed in La Libertad until Eva was three, at which point they moved back to Lima. In Lima, they lived in a military corpus and she went to a military school that was part of the complex. Her mother was a private teacher who worked from home. Eva's passion for writing started at the age of ten after reading the book of Mariano Melgar, a Peruvian poetry writer who died in the battle for the Peruvian Independence. He wrote a series of poems about the conflict between Peru and Spain. More so, about a Spanish woman, he felt in love with but their love was forbidden. What captivated her attention was how the author managed to capture raw emotions on his poems, which led her to start writing poetry. At the age of eleven. Eva started participating in poetry competitions held between different prestigious schools in Lima. In December 2003, her father was assigned to work in Russia as a military attaché to the Peruvian embassy. She moved there with her parents and two brothers and lived in a diplomatic corpus in the centre of Moscow. At the end of 2005, her family moved back to Lima, where she finished her secondary school in December 2006. In 2007, her mother moved to United States and Eva followed a year later in 2008 to spend six months in USA before moving to UK to study Business Management.
In 2015 Eva decided to do a Master’s in Creative Writing & Publishing to get back to her long lost writing hobby and is currently working on the tittle ‘Letters I could never send” which is her first step into the writing world. The song that best describes the book is ‘Be Honest by Jason Mraz.’ You can contact her at eva@evavaleso.com
